Use keywords in your title and meta description to rank higher

Keywords are the most useful tool in SEO. It helps search engines find your website for any given query, and it is especially useful for photographers.  Let us look at how you can use keywords in your title to rank higher.

Title tags are the titles that appear on the search results page, and they are extremely important for SEO services for photography websites.

Any search engine works on complex algorithms, and they usually give the top slot to the website which has more in its title.

This is a quick and easy way to make sure your website ranks high for relevant search queries. You can even make your website stand out with the art of writing relevant keywords in your title.

For example, if you are a wedding photographer, use phrases like “wedding photographer London” or “London wedding photographer” in your titles to rank higher.

Similarly, keep these tips in mind when you are making your titles:

  • The title should be around 60 characters long, and you can even go a few characters over this limit.
  • Try to include the location of your business in the title.
  • Use relevant keywords in your titles for maximum effect. This is the most important thing about writing effective titles.
  • The more keywords you use in your title, the better position you will rank for those keywords.
  • The more times the keyword appears in your title, the higher you will rank for that keyword.

Also, remember to use the keyword in your Meta description. This is an important part of on-page SEO, and it will help you rank better when combined with keywords in the title.

One important thing to remember here is that you should not try to trick search engines by stuffing your title with keywords.

For example, if you are a wedding photographer in London, then don’t write something like this for your title:

Wedding Photographer London | Wedding Photography London | Best Wedding Photographers Bridal Portraits

There are no bridal portraits on your website. You are just trying to rank higher by using irrelevant keywords. Don’t do this, as Google is smart enough to understand what your website is about only by reading the Meta description and a few lines of your content.

Break it down into several titles for better results:

You can even write separate titles for different pages on your website. This is a good way to write effective titles, as you can target each page individually and give it an optimized title.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that search engines give equal importance to your images, title, and Meta description for ranking purposes.

You should, therefore, keep in mind all the things when you are optimizing your images for better results.

Here are a few more tips to increase your rankings:

  • Include your keywords in the alt tag of your images. This is one of the most important parts of on-page SEO.
  • Write relevant and detailed Meta descriptions for your images to rank better.
  • Include the targeted keyword in the file name of your images.
  • If you are writing unique titles for each page, it is better to write separate titles for your images as well.
  • Add alt tags to each image, and make sure that they also include relevant keywords.
  • Try to add a keyword at the beginning of your image file names.

If you follow these easy steps, you can easily rank higher in search results without much effort.

The next time you upload an image, remember to optimize it for better results. You can even use all the things mentioned here in all future posts on your website. This will help you rank better for the content you are creating right now, and this will also help your older posts rank better for future posts.

Include keyword-rich text throughout the blog post

If you’re a photographer, whether professional, amateur, or hobbyist, getting your name out there is going to be a large part of your success.

One way to do that is by optimizing your images properly for search engines. When you’re blogging, whether it’s photo-based or not, the goal with every post is to reach as many people as you can. By using your keywords in your title, throughout the article, and with alt tags, you can increase the number of people that may click through to your site.

When you write or create an image, put yourself in the search engine’s shoes. Ask yourself what keywords would someone type into a search engine that would find this article or image?

Including the keyword in your title is a good first step. But make the text in your post readable by humans, not search engines. The search engines are very good at knowing what words or phrases are important in the context of the article, so you don’t need to repeat yourself.  They’re not as good at understanding the nuances of tone, irony, and sarcasm.

You don’t need to pad your post with a bunch of keywords to try to fool the search engines. They’re very good at seeing what you’re doing there and they’ll just ignore your efforts.

Writing readable, informative articles will help the search engines understand what you’re talking about. Then they’ll send people who are searching for more information or knowledge about that topic to your site or through your image.

The key is to include the keywords, but write compelling articles and images so that people will want to click on them.

Link to other relevant posts within your website or blog post

Having a blog or website is great, but the only way to get more viewers to your work is to attract more links from outside sources. The first place I would recommend looking is at the other posts on your own blog.

Link to other relevant posts within your website or blog post

You can either link to other posts on your own site or you can also find related posts or content that is similar on other sites. Let’s say that I write a blog post about how to put up wallpaper, but my posts also include information on how to hang curtains. It would be beneficial for me to link to other posts on my own site that discuss hanging curtains.

And the opposite of this is true as well. If you were writing a post about hanging curtains, you might want to link to blog posts about wallpaper.

It can be a good idea to link back to your own site from relevant posts on other sites. But you should be careful. If you link back to a post that is irrelevant, it can actually hurt your site’s ranking.

And If you have a related post on your site, but the only difference is the number of words, then it might be better to pick a post with a few words and link to that one.

If the only difference is the month or year, then you can go ahead and link to the post, but use a no-follow link. No follow links do not pass any credit for your site’s rank and they don’t count towards your site’s “link juice”.

However, if you are linking to a post on the same topic but it was written several years ago, then it might be a good idea to link to the post with a no-follow.

When you’re linking to other sites, just try not to link to competitors. Your link from another site should be from a related post, not from someone writing about the same topic as you.

You should also try to link from sites with a lot of authority. And you should look for sites that have a good page rank as well. If you can’t find a site with a good page rank, then you can link to an article on that author’s blog.

You don’t want every post on your blog to have a link from another site, because it will look too commercial. In fact, Google will penalize you if every one of your posts has too many links. You want to try and find a good balance when it comes to linking your posts together.

So I would recommend linking to other posts on your site but linking back from a post relevant to yours. And I would also recommend not linking from another site if the posts are about the same topic. If you want to link from another site, then look for related posts until you find one that isn’t about the same topic.

If you are linking from another site, just try to link back from a post that isn’t too competitive. And if the only difference between your post and another site’s post is the date, then skip linking from that site.

And you should try to find sites with a lot of authority. Good luck with your blog

Create a social media campaign for more traffic and backlinks

If you are a photographer or know of one who could use some extra web traffic and backlinks, read on. This is for you!

There is an easy way to get more web traffic and backlinks. What you do is open up a social media page dedicated to your work or wedding business. When you get friends, family and other business associates to like your page, then link that social media profile to your website.

Remember that the more people who are linking to your social media page, the higher up the search results from it will be when they Google your business.

So what are you waiting for?

You can open up a free social media account with sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. And should be able to choose what your business page is about. You can also use Google+ pages, Pinterest, and many other social media sites to get more web traffic.

When you are ready to create your social media page, it is best to check your competition first. What you do is search for keywords related to your business. For example, if you are a photographer in the Pittsburgh area, your keyword should be “Pittsburgh wedding photographers” or something similar.

Once you click on the first result which is usually the top social media site the business has, you should see links to their website and other social media accounts. If you do not see the social media page, it means they are not advertising their business. On the other hand, if there is a link, click on it.

Now that you have their social media page, you can copy and paste the link into your browser’s address bar to get to the page. You can also click on “share” to put a shortcut link on your own website or social media account. This way, it won’t look like you are doing anything suspicious.

If someone searches your business name or keywords, it should be much easier to make the top results.

Remember that you should be reaching out to friends, family and other associates who will follow your social media page. This way, your business gets more traffic.

Finally, make sure you are putting some of your own content on your social media accounts each day. This is also a great way to get backlinks from other websites. It’s a win-win!

All in all, it is easy to get more web traffic and backlinks to your website. If you use the above tips, you should see more traffic in no time!

Your business can finally get that high Google ranking it deserves. Do not wait another day! Best of luck.
