This feature allows you to stack one page on top of another to create that effect of a long page with different sections.
It is a function that depends on the template you have chosen since not all Squarespace templates will give you this option.
I recommend one that belongs to the Brine family of templates , such as Heights or Sonora .

2. The summary block.
I use it all the time for a lot of situations. This block allows you to show a preview on any page of your website of articles from your blog, products from your store or images from a gallery.
The sidebar that you see in this blogpost is built using a summary block and the section where I show you related articles at the end of the post is also a summary block.
Example of the summary block showing products from the store:
3. SEO functions to optimize your website for search engines.
They are already integrated into Squarespace, you don’t need a plugin.
Simply go to the configuration of your page and you will find the SEO section where you can place the necessary descriptions.
To add a global description for your website, go to MARKETING> SEO from your home panel.
Remember that you can add a description to your images (ALT text).
Make good use of your H1, H2 and H3 titles embedded in your text block.
You can connect to Google Search Console and analytics in a few clicks.
4. Markdown block and code block.
These blocks allow you to embed code anywhere on your website.
I use the markdown block to add CSS code.
This way I can include a vertical dividing line, for example:
Or to include an H4 title with a custom font:
THIS FONT IS NOT AVAILABLE ON SQUARESPACE
The code block will allow you to integrate Squarespace with virtually any digital tool.
It is the block that I use for example to embed my subscription forms created in Mailer lite.
5. The blogging platform.
Squarespace has very powerful and comprehensive blogging features.
- Perfectly optimize my articles for SEO
- Schedule them to be published on specific dates
- Include multiple authors
- Add any type of block to create dynamic designs
- Automatically post to social networks when I publish a new post
- Organize your post by categories
6. The digital product store.
Squarespace makes it easy to sell digital products.
When creating a new product you can choose the option to make it digital. This way you can add your downloadable file, create a sales page and integrate Paypal and Stripe in a few clicks.
You can also handle different types of promotions from the COMMERCE area.
Selling with Squarespace is an option available in the COMPANY AND COMMERCE plans. It is not available for the PERSONAL plan.
7. Storage of audios and PDFs.
You can store them directly in Squarespace, so you don’t need to pay for storage space on Amazon for example.
8. Integration with social networks
From your website in Squarespace you can automatically publish on your social media platforms every time you publish a new article on the blog or a product from your store.
You can also display a dynamic Instagram feed on your website like the one I have in the footer.
You can also link to your social networks:
9.The mobility of the pages in the navigation menu or the footer
This function allows you to optimize the website for specific goals of a season by highlighting some element of the navigation as a button.
