
Last bRural Connect, LLC has decided to be an ISP, an element of the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program. This EBB Program part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021. Enacted by Congress in December 2021. Many families enjoying it’s unlimited high speed internet for rural areas.
Moreover, Congress offered funds to every eligible household to receive a monthly subsidy for up to 50 dollars per month. It paid directly to a service provider for internet service.
Any amounts over $50 are an obligation of the user for internet services to make payments directly to the internet service provider. This program is in effect until the funds run out or six months have passed after the CDC has declared COVID 19 was no longer in existence. COVID 19 emergency was no longer in operation.
